(Album) The Jacka & 12 Guage Shotie- The Price Of Money

Title: Price Of Money
Artists: The Jacka & 12 Guage Shotie
Label: YZE GUYZ ENT.
Release Date: 1/20/09

Review:

1. Live Like This- Jacka and 12 explain how they really do what they rap about. Average track.

2. Dope- The beat is interesting. The lyrics aren’t.

3. Should I- 12 Guage Shotie solo. To summarize…. if you have money you have too many choices. It’s a bit repetative but not bad.

4. Mob Shit- Jacka and 12 go back and forth on this one over a sick beat.

5. Callin’- Summary: Don’t waste my time. Nice track.

6. Sunshine- 12 Guage Shotie talks about how he fucks with The Bay. Jacka talks about his addictions. Decent track.

7. Kan’t Be Me- This track has my favorite beat off this album. Great track overall.

8. Throw It Up- Slap.

9. Paper Long- This one is about money. 12 Guage Shotie’s flow on this one was cool.

10. Chop Out- Drive-by music. Jacka killed this track.

11. Dayz Like This- 12 Guage Shotie solo. Very solid track.

12. All My Niggaz- Jacka and 12 rap about their friends. Another solid track to close out the album.

I had never heard of 12 Guage Shotie before this album, but he turned out to be pretty good. Jacka somehow continues to make solid music even though it seems like he has a new project out every 2 months. Their flows don’t go together too well, but for this album it worked. Production on it was solid all the way through. This album is very short but worth checking out.

Overall Rating: 3.5/5
